On the properties and applications of the odd lindley-gompertz distribution

The Gompertz distribution is both skewed to the left and to the right. It is an extension of the exponential distribution and is commonly used in many applied problems, particularly in life time data analysis. This paper proposes another extension of the Gompertz distribution called “the odd lindley-Gompertz distribution”. Some properties of the new distribution have been derived and proposed distribution. The performance of the proposed model has been evaluated by using a real life dataset.
