This study proposes the investigation of water harvesting on the hybrid surface with different super hydrophilic sizes, which is inspired by the water-capturing behavior of the Stenocara beetle. The combination of water collection (superhydrophilic spots) and water-driven (superhydrophobic area) facilitates the water collection process on such a unique morphology. The results describe the importance of contact angle hysteresis in the determination of collection efficiency.

This study involves geological material, topographic phenomena and the river system in a cause-and-effect relationship in the Mayo-Kebbi watershed. This river connects South - West Chad to Northern Cameroon via the Benoué River, which connects with the Niger river basin. The main objective of this work is to understand the influence of geological material and topographic factors on the Mayo-Kebbi hydrographic system. For this purpose, the description of the rocks in place and their structure was made on the basis of a state of the art of the acquired knowledge.

The external quantum efficiency EQE(λ) is the fraction of photons incident on the solar cell that create electron-hole pairs in the absorber, which are successfully collected. It is wavelength dependent and is usually measured by illuminating the solar cell with monochromatic light of wavelength λ and measuring the photocurrent Iph through the solar cell. The aim in this work is to show the external quantum efficiency and the spectral response for the screen-printed solar cell under different illumination. The photocurrent delivered by the solar cell is highlight for each illumination.

Further, which is devoted to studying the condition of Finsler space of constant flag curvature and vanishing S curvature admits a non Riemannian space of affine projective vector field with First Approximate Matsumoto metric is Berwald space.

In this paper, we obtain the Hardy – Ramanujan – Rademacher series for ck,h(n) on the lines of L.W. Kolitsch. The existence of such series for c1,k(n) and ck,l(n) was asked for by Andrews and later obtained by Kolitsch. Finally we extend the results on q-binomial coefficients and q-series representation of Andrews to our function ck,h(n). Andrews has established the two congruences c1,2(5n+3)  c2,1 (5n+3)  O (mod 5). We show that the analogous congruence c2,2 (5n+3)  O (mod 5) is false for n = 2.

Brain diseases are neurodegenerative diseases that cause nerves and brains to degenerate over time. The term "neurodegenerative" refers to the loss of brain cells in areas of the brain where dopamine is normally produced. It causes confusion, alters personality, and then destroys brain nerves and tissues. Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is a popular radiology technique for diagnosing brain diseases.

Increasing world population demands increasing amount of chemicals, materials, polymers for daily usage. Most of the polymers and chemicals are derived from fossil resources but the major problem of using this fossil based material is undesirable environmental problem, frequent oscillation in oil price and limited fossil resources. In the present study we mainly focus on Synthesis of castor oil based soft polyurethane and its composites. In this study two fibre were selected Sisal and glass were selected.

Background: Globally, diarrhoea disease is a major cause of morbidity among children under 5 years (under-fives). In Africa, there are 696 million cases of diarrhoea among under-fives every year. Diarrhoea accounted for about 4.7% of outpatient visits among under-fives in Kenya, a common observation in many developing countries. It appears that even with the well drummed up public health and maternal health programs among the developing countries, diarrheal infections continue to be a major challenge in the lives of children under five years.

The objective of this study was to establish the influence of motorcycle riders’ (Locally referred to as “Boda Boda”) practices on road safety in Kampala, Uganda. Specifically the study determined the level of compliance of these riders to safety practices and also establishes both the individual and institutional factors influencing road safety practices among them. The road safety practices examined were two: Having valid Riding Licenses and Wearing Head Protection gear (Helmets) whenever riding.
