This study involves geological material, topographic phenomena and the river system in a cause-and-effect relationship in the Mayo-Kebbi watershed. This river connects South - West Chad to Northern Cameroon via the Benoué River, which connects with the Niger river basin. The main objective of this work is to understand the influence of geological material and topographic factors on the Mayo-Kebbi hydrographic system. For this purpose, the description of the rocks in place and their structure was made on the basis of a state of the art of the acquired knowledge.

Suite à la multiplication de crises alimentaires et de scandales sanitaires liés à la consommation de certains produits, cette question est devenue centrale aussi bien dans les préoccupations des ménages que dans celles des pouvoirs publics. Ainsi, l’exigence grandissante du consommateur en matière de qualité incite à la mise en place d’outils permettant une meilleure collaboration entre les différents acteurs concernés.

Alkaloids are pharmacologically active containing two or more fused organic compound including heteroatom in it. The quinoline alkaloids from higher plants are best classified according to their biogenetic derivation from either anthranilic acid or tryptophan Cinchona which belongs to family Rubiaceae, got its importance from the centuries because of its antimalarial activity. Alkaloids present in this herb, Quinine, Chichonine, Quinidine and Cinchonidine are the main alkaloids of this class.

This study is an investigation on the Somali language shift towards English. Four Somali-US born children were selected for the research question one in order to explore the Somali language features that are susceptible to the attrition when they come in contact with English. Their parents were selected as samples for the research question two in the purpose of scrutinising their perceptions on the maintenance of their L1 by their children.

Watermelon is a plant with great agronomic and economic potential. However, in Côte d'Ivoire, very few studies on cultivation practices, post-harvest conservation, marketing and identification of existing varieties have been conducted. The objective of this study is to acquire a better scientific knowledge of the production of watermelon in Côte d'Ivoire. To do this, a non-exhaustive survey using the snowball method was conducted among 127 producers, including 54 in Bassam, 42 in Jacqueville and 31 in Divo.

Background: Backward walking has emerged as an important therapy. Backward walking is regulated by same central pattern generator as forward walking. Gait parameter of interest were step length, stride length, step width and cadence. Measurement was made at baseline before commencement of training and at the end of 4 weeks. Methods: Initially the subject were made to walk 10 steps forward and 9 steps backwards and was observed for any discomfort. Hepatitis E virus (HEV) is an important enteric human pathogen worldwide distribution. It can cause sporadic cases as well as large epidemics of acute hepatitis. Many studies proved that HEV infection in pregnancy in the first trimester leads to miscarriage and in the third trimester poor maternal and fetal outcome. Study aimed to determine the prevalence of HEV among miscarriage women attending Saudi Hospital for in Khartoum, during the period from September to December 2019.

This paper is a cross-section analysis of the quality of life faced by the infertile couple in which each gender is considered separately. The social, environmental, economical, sexual, psychological, and physical dimension of the universally accepted questionnaire is adopted and the confidence on better Quality of Life is estimated. How infertile females are distinguished on QoL is enquired and a linear model is developed. Also, the logistic regression model on the QoL of both infertile male and female were distinguished and compared.
